Pre-reservation
You must send us an e-mail indicating the type of apartment you wish to reserve, the dates of stay, your full name, address, telephone number, e-mail, the number of people, and if you wish to rent bed linen or any other extra.
We will send you an e-mail confirming the pre-reservation which will include our bank account number and the reservation rules.
The apartment will remain pre-reserved for 5 working days.
To confirm your reservation you will have to deposit in our account the equivalent of 40% of the total rental price, and send us a copy of the receipt of the deposit by e-mail to clientes@mare-nostrum.net.
You must send us this document within 5 working days, or your pre-booking will be cancelled.
Once we receive your payment we will send you a confirmation of your reservation.
Occupation
The other 60% of the rent has to be paid before the reception of the keys of the apartment, either by bank transfer or by paying in cash at your arrival. When you have paid the total amount of the rent, we will give you the voucher of occupancy of the apartment that you must show to the person in charge of the company at your arrival.
The tourist tax is not included in the rental price and will be charged separately, according to the current amount set by the Catalan legislation at the time of the stay.
At the time of receiving the keys, you must pay a deposit of 200,- € which will be refunded on the day of your departure provided that the apartment is in the same condition as before your arrival.
Apartamentos Mare Nostrum, S.L. has the right to charge the following amounts if the client cancels the reservation:
* 5% of the amount of the reservation if the client cancels 30 days or more in advance.
* 50% of the amount of the reservation if the client cancels between 7 and 30 days before the date of the rental.
* 100% of the amount of the reservation if the client cancels less than 7 days in advance.
The apartment is at your disposal on the first day from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 a.m. on the last day of your stay.
The keys are handed over between 17:00h and 20:30h. If the client arrives after this time we charge 15,00 € if arriving before 23:00, if arriving between 23:00 h and 8:00 the next day we charge 40,00 €.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
The relationship between Apartamentos Mare Nostrum, S.L. and customers is governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from the use of the services provided, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of the domicile of the consumer when the latter is a consumer for legal purposes; otherwise, to the courts and tribunals of Madrid.
